Our 2005 family weekend took place in May at the Swallow Hotel, Swindon. It was a time to meet old friends and make new ones. We had 16 families stay the weekend, both Proteus and Klippel Trenauny with many others joining us on the Sunday morning for the AGM and main meeting when we had presentations given by Professor John Harper and a child phsycologist from Changing Faces. Parents said how much they had benefited from meeting up with others who were experiencing the same joys and challenges..and the children had a great time being entertained by a children's magician. Here is just one view from a family for whom it was their first weekend...

"We found the weekend to be so valuable. Jacob gained so much from meeting other children with the same condition as him. Words just do not go there. The weekend was a god send. It was a wonderful way to share things with other people who for the first time in my and Jacob's life could understand what we meant and where we were coming from. The weekend was priceless and we are looking forward to the next one."
